Liquid Tight Connectors, Conduit and Fittings

Liquid Tight Connectors - Snap-In
All nylon construction resists salt water, gasoline, oil, alcohol, weak acids, grease and common solvents. Assembly friendly! Just push the conduit or tubing onto the ferrule, then tighten the domed sealing nut. Completed assembly can then be snapped into the chassis with fingertip pressure. No threading of the conduit or tubing required, eliminating the possibility of cutting the conduit and creating leak paths.
Liquid Tight Connectors - Straight
All nylon construction resists salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease and common solvents. No disassembly required. Just push the conduit/tubing onto the ferrule, then tighten the domed sealing nut. This completed assembly can then be secured in the chassis by the locknut (or first secure the connector into an NPT threaded hole). No threading of the conduit or tubing is required, eliminating the chance of cutting the conduit and creating leak paths. Complete connector is reusable.
Use of a sealing washer may be needed for wet locations. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use, for OEMs or field installers.
Liquid Tight Connectors - Sweep
All the same functions as the straight connectors but offer more flexibility. Complete connector is reusable. Smooth internal surfaces for easier wire installation. Black connectors provided with nylon locknut, packed separately. Use of a sealing washer may be required for wet locations. See page 92. Gray connectors provided with assembled o-ring and metal locknut.
Suitable for indoor/outdoor use, for OEMs or field installers.
Liquid TIght Conduit
This UL Type B flexible, non-metallic tubing resists corrosion, abrasion, oil, water, acid, metal shavings and rough environments. It is for use with nylon straight, snap-in or sweep connectors as well as steel and die cast connectors. Mounting brackets are also available. Resists abuse, pull and crushing. Smooth inside for easier wire pulling; will not harm conductors. No hazardous sharp edges or burrs.
Mounting Brackets
Used to mount liquid tight conduit or tubing securely into place, vertically or horizontally. Only fingertip pressure is required. Low profile design for pleasing appearance and space saving.
Recommended distance between brackets: intervals not greater than 3 ft. Use one standard #10 screw (not included) to attach bracket to panel or chassis.
Right-Angle Liquid Tight Fittings - NPT Hubs
Each cordgrip is moulded in the open position for ease of installation. After cable insertion, the fitting snaps closed, bending the cable without damage, saving considerable time and money. Part design provides liquid tight integrity even in the open position. Acme threads on body prevent skipping and speed installation. All-nylon with TPE gland, resists salt water, weak acids, gasoline, oil, alcohol, grease and common solvents. This feature is not assessed by UL certification and testing.
Right-Angle Liquid Tight Fittings - PG Hubs
Each cordgrip is moulded in the open position for ease of installation. After cable insertion, the fitting snaps closed, bending the cable without damage, saving considerable time and money. Part design provides liquid tight integrity even in the open position. Acme threads on body prevent skipping and speed installation. All-nylon with TPE gland, resists salt water, weak acids, gasoline, oil, alcohol, grease and common solvents. This feature is not assessed by UL certification and testing.
Sealing Washers
Manufactured of Thermoplastic Elastomer, these washers have special double sealing ridges to compensate for minor unevenness at enclosure. Suitable for wet locations requiring a separate gasket between the box and fitting.
Liquid tight, dust tight and oil tight at enclosure. Easy to install since washers seal off on the perimeter, not on the connector threads.
Snap-In Liquid Tight Grommets
Gray moulded EPDM grommet is fire tested to FMVSS 302, vehicle safety norm 302 (DIN 75200) to provide light strain relief to the cable. Material hardness 50 shore A. Just snap into place, pierce thin membrane, insert and pull back cable. Protection Class IP 67 per EN60529.
